Of the most architectural projects JS Engineering have worked on is the construction of a 250m2 one-story
house designed for Jens Frederiksen, Rebecca Frederiksen, and their two little girls.
The house is inspired by a bird’s nest based on the idea of building a nest for the family and their children
until they are ready to leave the nest.
The residence is to be built with wooden framework with self-supporting blanket bogs resting on pile-
supported foundation beams.
JS Engineering have been construction planners and responsible for producing engineering calculations in
terms of structural analyses, stability calculations, foundation calculations, construction blueprints, and
joint details.
The architect in this project is Frederik Mads Svendsen and Marion Lingua from Lingua & Svendsen.
At JS Engineering, we are proud to be part of this project where ordinariness has been put aside in favor of
a different way of thinking.
