One of the most architectural projects that JS Engineering ApS has worked on is the construction of a 250 m2 1-storey house designed for Jens Frederiksen, Rebecca Frederiksen and their two little girls. The house is inspired by a bird’s nest, which is based on building a nest for the family and its young ones until they are ready to fly. The home must be constructed of timber frames with self-supporting ground cover, resting on pile-supported foundation beams. JS Engineering ApS has been the structural designer and responsible for carrying out engineering calculations in the form of static calculations, stability calculations, foundation calculations, construction drawings and assembly details. The architect for the project has been Frederik Mads Svendsen and Marion lingua, from Lingua Svendsen. At JS Engineering ApS, we are proud to be part of this project, where normality has been broken and different thinking has been done.
