The property developer hired JS Engineering for a project concerning expansion of the living room in a private residence by removing an existing load-bearing wall, which was designed to support an existing ceiling on the first floor. JS Engineering developed a solution that can replace the load-bearing wall with a steel beam. The project was solved in close collaboration with property developer through dialogue concerning various challenges and considerations during inspection of property.
