The project concerns the construction of an office building in Hjørring of a total of 670 m2 on two floors. The construction is assigned to construction class 2. In this project, JS Engineering ApS acted as structural designer for the entire construction and was responsible for preparing construction and detail drawings. In addition, JS Engineering ApS has acted as section designer for: – Foundations – Steel constructions – Wooden constructions – Cast-in-place concrete construction The project was carried out in collaboration with BRIX | NORDBERG Architecture. Subsequently, contracts have been signed with the respective contractors who will build the project, and at JS Engineering ApS we look forward to seeing the finished construction. This has been a very special project in that it has been our first office domicile and there has been a good framework for rethinking how we could create the best office conditions, particularly with a focus on good light and a healthy indoor climate. The collaboration with the contractor and architect has been incredibly streamlined. Here you can feel a great deal of pride in the project from the parties involved, and ownership of the execution has been taken to a great extent. At the same time, there has been a good respect for each other’s work, which has resulted in a successful collaboration, in which a solution-oriented approach has been taken to any challenge that may arise.
